The Design Process
Space Analysis or test fit plans of potential new office or retail space prior to securing a lease.
Project planning and conceptual design to define project scope and client objectives. A preliminary project budget, schedule, space plans and design concepts are prepared at this stage including a building code review.
Design Development includes finalizing space plans, material and finish specifications and detailed construction and furniture budgets.
Construction documents are completed to include plans, elevations, details and specifications for building permit, pricing and construction.
Contract Administration is managing the construction of the interior project by keeping the client informed of developments, monitoring schedule, processes and issuing supplementary information as required. Progress payments are certified, shop drawings reviewed and a deficiency list prepared upon substantial completion.
“Today’s workplace is so much more than an environment in which to work. It’s a tool that can drive organizational change, improve performance and productivity, bolster employee engagement and attract, retain and motivate talent. It’s also a strategic asset that can communicate corporate mission, branding and cultural messaging.”
